The month of October is just going to be a grind for Michigan State. If the Spartans can get through this month with just one loss, it’s going to be a massive win.

Wisconsin comes to town a week after the Spartans host Ohio State and that makes two straight weeks facing divisional favorites. This time, however, Michigan State will come out on top, getting revenge against the Badgers who have owned the Spartans over the last few matchups.

Points will be at a premium here, but Jalen Berger will use this as a revenge game, breaking 100 yards on the ground against his former team.

Prediction: Win (6-1, 3-1)

Following an emotional win over Wisconsin and a tough stretch to start October, Michigan State caps off the month with a bye week before a Michigan matchup in Ann Arbor.

Talk about two of the longest weeks of all time, Michigan also gets a bye before this game so we’ll see and hear nothing but trash talk between the two rivals on social media. It’s going to be absolutely exhausting.

Michigan wants revenge here and Michigan State wants to prove that the last two years were no fluke. This game is going to be really close but I give the Wolverines a slight edge here because they’re on their own turf.

Prediction: Loss (6-2, 3-2)
