Keon Coleman’s favorite food in East Lansing is nothing short of unacceptable. Fellow Michigan State football players need to help him out.

As fans, we sometimes don’t realize that Michigan State football players come from all around the country to East Lansing and probably experience a major culture shock.

The weather is different for a lot of these guys and so are the food options.

Admittedly, East Lansing could be better when it comes to food, but there are still some really solid options like Crunchy’s, Conrad’s, The Peanut Barrell, and, honestly, a lot of the cafeterias have upgraded so much that they’re like restaurants. Give me some Brody Cafeteria any day of the week and I’m not complaining one bit.

But some players come from areas where food is king and options are endless. Guys from the south are often disappointed by Michigan State’s food options and Keon Coleman is no exception.

Coleman spoke to the media earlier this week and said that he hasn’t really found anything that he likes to eat in East Lansing and while that’s understandable, the one establishment he did say he likes is just unacceptable.

What’s his favorite food in East Lansing? Subway.

Unacceptable.

I’m not here to shame someone’s go-to food option, but when it’s Subway over about a million other sandwich places and restaurants, I have an issue. This is unacceptable, to say the least.

His teammates need to help him out and take him to one of their favorite spots in East Lansing or even just get him to the cafeteria because I can bet you that the sandwich station at Brody is just as good, if not better.

Look Keon, I get that we don’t have Louisiana eats, but there are a million better options than Subway. It’s time to fix that.
