Shortly after five-star power forward Xavier Booker released his top 10 schools, Michigan State basketball received a huge crystal ball for him.

Monday was a big day for Xavier Booker as the five-star power forward from Indiana released a top 10 and Michigan State basketball made the cut.

Shortly after releasing his Big Ten-heavy top 10 which included Indiana, Ohio State, Michigan, and MSU, he also received his first crystal ball on 247Sports.

And it was a big one.

Travis Branham, a plugged-in 247Sports basketball analyst, put in a crystal ball for the Spartans to land the five-star big man with a confidence level of seven. Huge.

Branham has made 14 predictions in the 2023 class so far and he’s batting 1.000. He is a perfect 14-for-14 in his 2023 class crystal balls and that’s a good sign for the Spartans because he’s fairly confident they’re in the lead for Booker after he released his top 10.

Tom Izzo has been working incredibly hard to show Booker that he’s the Spartans’ top priority left in the 2023 class, showing up to pretty much all of his games over the past few months. He’s been hot on the trail when it comes to Booker and it’s getting noticed by the five-star. He feels the love from Michigan State and knows he’d be the centerpiece of Izzo’s class.

If all goes as planned, Izzo could have one of his best classes of all time, landing Booker, Jeremy Fears, and Devin Royal who could all be five-stars before it’s all said and done.

This crystal ball is a huge development for MSU.
