Payton Kirkland is one of the recruits on this list who actually has a decision date and his is set for July 23. He has taken official visits to Florida, Miami, Oklahoma, and Michigan State and it feels like the Spartans are the current leaders to land him.

After his official visit to Michigan State, some eye-opening quotes caught everyone’s eye. He spoke about how he loved the staff and his aunt even cried because of the amazing people she met in East Lansing and she didn’t want to leave.

Kirkland loved East Lansing and could even be a package deal with fellow four-star offensive lineman Miles McVay — so maybe this would set off a domino effect up front.

Michigan State holds the crystal ball lead on 247Sports which has been trending in that direction ever since his official on June 17.

The 6-foot-6, 345-pounder from Orlando, Fla., is ranked the No. 235 overall recruit and 25th-best offensive tackle in the class and we are closing in on a decision here.
