Michigan State football is after a number of top targets in the 2023 class and here’s who the Spartans could land in July.

Mel Tucker has made a splash this summer with his official visits. He’s brought Lambos, goats, and countless sports cars onto the field at Spartan Stadium, giving top recruits plenty of awesome photo ops.

Michigan State football has already benefitted from these official visits in the month of June, picking up a handful of commitments from four-star recruits and the 2023 class vaulted all the way up to No. 11 in the country before dropping down a bit after a couple of weeks of quiet.

That could soon change with some top targets set to commit in the month of July.

Which 2023 class recruits could commit to MSU this month?

Honorable mention (possible, but not likely): Jayden Wayne, Caleb Presley

The four-star linebacker twins from Altamonte, Fla., have announced a top three of Maryland, UCF, and Michigan State and plan to announce on July 6.

Michigan State made a strong impression on their visit and the word on the street is that it’s basically down to two: the Spartans and UCF. Michigan State has the draw of Mel Tucker and playing in the Big Ten with a good chance to make it to the NFL but UCF has proximity to home and the potential to play right away as freshmen.

UCF has gotten some crystal balls on 247Sports for the twins from Florida but there are still a few days left for Tucker to make up some ground and potentially change some minds.

Andrew is ranked the No. 96 overall recruit and ninth-best linebacker and Michael is the No. 138 overall prospect and 11th-best linebacker per 247Sports.
