All it took was one tweet from four-star linebacker Jordan Hall to inspire me to write about potential commitments this weekend.

Currently on his official visit, Hall seems to be having a great time and even teased everyone with an “announcement” coming later on Saturday night. Could that mean a top schools list? It’s possible, but that would be odd considering he’s in the middle of an official visit. It feels like a commitment is coming.

The four-star linebacker from IMG Academy is one of the best players at his position in the country. In fact, he’s ranked the No. 194 overall recruit and 14th-best linebacker in the 2023 class, per the composite. He still has official visits planned to Michigan (June 14), Notre Dame (June 17), and North Carolina (June 24) and just took one to Florida last week.

Michigan State could get some good news before the weekend is even over and Hall would make for a huge win for Mel Tucker and Co.
