Michigan State football beats out Michigan, Notre Dame for 4-star LB Jordan Hall
Michigan State football has beaten out Michigan, Notre Dame, and Florida for four-star linebacker Jordan Hall from IMG Academy.
To say Mel Tucker is on a roll would be a massive understatement.
The third-year Michigan State football coach has kicked off official visit season with a bang, landing three four-star prospects over the past week.
Michigan State kicked things off by landing four-star cornerback Chance Rucker on Monday and then followed that up with a four-star wideout Demitrius Bell pledge just days later.
On Saturday, in the middle of an official visit, Michigan State landed four-star linebacker Jordan Hall from IMG Academy. He picked the Spartans just days before he was scheduled to visit Michigan (June 14) and he still had visits to North Carolina and Notre Dame planned but those will likely be canceled after this decision.
This is a huge recruiting win for Tucker not only because he beat out two rivals and a few national programs for the four-star receiver from one of the most prestigious prep programs in the nation, but also because he’s a top-200 prospect.
In fact, Hall is ranked the No. 194 overall prospect and 14th-best linebacker in the country, according to the 247Sports composite.
Fans have to be elated by this news because it feels like Hall will be that next great linebacker in the green and white and he’s the second four-star linebacker to commit to the Spartans under Tucker, following in the footsteps of Ma’a Gaoteote from the 2021 class.
Buy stock in Michigan State right now because Tuck is absolutely comin’.
