One of my favorite defensive back prospects in the class is Chance Rucker, a four-star cornerback from Denton, Texas, who might just be the top guy on the board with Daylen Austin committing to LSU.

Rucker is the No. 275 overall prospect and 28th-best cornerback, according to the composite. He’s a four-star from Texas who has proven himself as one of the best in the country.

Michigan State has made him a priority and from all accounts and purposes, Rucker is having a great time on his official visit. He spoke to Justin Thind about the visit and it sounds like he’s feeling the love and had nothing but nice things to say.

Could Rucker truly commit this weekend with an official visit to Arkansas scheduled next week? Sure, but he may hold off on announcing for another couple of weeks.

I like Michigan State’s chances here for Rucker.

Next. 5 recruits who could commit in June. dark
