Michigan State football has an unprecedented official visit-riddled month of June and the Spartans could land a slew of big-time targets.

The month of June is going to be a huge one for Mel Tucker and Michigan State football as they’re expecting dozens of four and five-star prospects to take official visits.

For the first time in a while, Michigan State feels like a ‘Plan A’ destination for the nation’s top recruits and you can thank Tucker’s 11-2 season in 2021 along with his ability to sell the program. He’s an elite recruiter and we’ve realized that rather quickly.

With official visit season upon us, which recruits could commit this month?

This one is a slight long-shot because Elliot Washington had to assure Alabama fans that he was still committed following a visit to East Lansing for Michigan State’s spring game. The rumors were deafening after his visit that he might be leaning toward a flip to the Spartans, but he at least bought himself some time to make a decision by throwing some water on the flames.

Michigan State saw an influx of crystal ball predictions come in shortly after his unofficial visit in the spring and all signs are pointing to him eventually becoming a Spartan.

Washington has one official visit schedule as of June 2 and that’s to Michigan State on June 17. That’s big for the Spartans because they could seal the deal for the Alabama pledge.

The 5-11 safety from Venice, Fla., is ranked the No. 132 recruit in the class, per the composite. He’s also the nation’s eighth-best safety.
