Michigan State Football: 4-star OL Madden Sanker is just who Spartans need
Not only is Madden Sanker one of the best offensive linemen in the class, but he could also be an elite player-recruiter for Michigan State football.
It won’t be easy, but Mel Tucker is well on his way to landing one of the best recruiting classes in the Big Ten and a top-15 group in the nation in 2023 which would have Michigan State football fans throwing money at a GoFundMe for his statue.
The best recruiting classes usually have one thing in common: a really vocal, engaging player recruiter.
What is a player recruiter? A commit who does some recruiting of his own.
Tucker already has one of those in four-star defensive end Andrew Depaepe who has been incredibly vocal about Michigan State being the place to be. He is doing his best to recruit fellow prospects to join him in the green and white and in most of these instances, these player recruiters end up helping the staff land a few guys.
Depaepe has already seemingly made some progress with fellow four-star defensive end Enow Etta who could be a Michigan State lean and will be visiting in June, but he could use some help.
One player recruiter in a class is great, but when you have two and both are blue-chip guys, that’s a recipe for resounding success.
Enter, Madden Sanker.
Not only is he a top-100 prospect who has Michigan State high on his list, he’s also a self-proclaimed elite recruiter.
You just know he would form one heck of a tandem with Depaepe.
And it didn’t take long for Depaepe to give the perfect response.
A duo of Sanker and Depaepe on the offensive and defensive lines, respectively, is scary enough, but having them come together to help recruit the rest of Michigan State’s 2023 class would be terrible news for the rest of the Big Ten.
Sanker already has an official visit to Michigan State planned on June 3, just one week before Depaepe. It’d be huge if Tucker could slide into that “leader” position for him after a strong visit and if he can land him sooner rather than later, it’s going to pay major dividends for the 2023 class.
Plus, he’s probably my second favorite offensive line recruit in the class behind only five-star Samson Okunlola. Both could be Spartans and if that happens, Chris Kapilovic will have some fun toys at his disposal for the foreseeable future.
Time to get Sanker committed.
