Jacoby Windmon comes over from UNLV where he had a monster season in 2021 for the Rebels and now he could be an All-Big Ten talent in 2022.

I have high hopes for Windmon in 2022 because Scottie Hazelton is going to scheme off his strengths. He’s going to be used in plenty of blitz packages after showing impressive pass-rush capabilities for the Rebels last season.

After a relatively slow start to his college career through two seasons, totaling 50 tackles and five sacks, he broke out in 2021 and drew plenty of interest in the transfer portal. He broke out with 119 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks and he proved he could be one of the best instant impact players for a contender’s defense in 2022.

Michigan State is going to insert him immediately and he’s going to pay major dividends playing alongside Cal Haladay, Darius Snow, and Aaron Brule.

Although MSU runs a 4-2-5, he’s going to see plenty of the field and he should be a serious NFL prospect with his athleticism and frame.
