Michigan State Football: 3 recruits who could commit in May 2022
Michigan State football has only had one commit since the spring game but there could be more coming soon. Who may commit in May?
The month of May is upon us and while Michigan State football fans are still somewhat impatient when it comes to commitments stemming from spring game weekend, we could soon have some good news ahead of official visits.
Mel Tucker has been hard at work trying to secure commitments from his top targets in the 2023 class and while there’s a dead period leading up to the official visit schedule in June, he may still land some big names in May.
Here’s a look at three recruits who I think could commit to Michigan State football this month.
I’m actually somewhat surprised that Cole Dellinger hasn’t committed to Michigan State already, but the trend over the past couple of months has been in favor of the Spartans.
Although his brother, Garrett, plays at LSU, Michigan State is in a good spot here.
The Spartans are the major crystal ball favorites on 247Sports and the trend has been going Michigan State’s way since his unofficial visit at the end of March. He’s one of the best offensive linemen in the class and he’s also the No. 5 prospect in the state of Michigan.
The 2023 class could be elite when it comes to the offensive line and getting it kickstarted with Dellinger could cause a lot of dominoes to fall.
