Michigan State football has a few prospects who could hear their names called in the 2022 NFL Draft this week. Where will they all land?

A year after watching zero Michigan State football players selected in the NFL draft, Mel Tucker is sending a handful of guys to the process with three likely to hear their names called.

Starting with the undrafted free agents, where will all the Spartans be selected this week?

Undrafted free agents

Michigan State has a handful of players who could go late or as undrafted free agents and I believe these guys will be the latter.

Jacub Panasiuk, DE: There’s a chance Jacub Panasiuk could sneak into the seventh round of the NFL draft, but I think he’ll probably go undrafted and sign on with a team afterward. He had 142 total tackles, 32 tackles for loss, and 16 sacks over his career with the Spartans. But if Kenny Willekes was barely drafted, I don’t see Panasiuk going in round seven.

Anthony Russo, QB: We didn’t see much of Anthony Russo this season after losing the quarterback battle to Payton Thorne. I could see him getting picked up by a team as an undrafted free agent because he has a strong arm and experience as a starter with Temple.

Drew Jordan, DE: Drew Jordan transferred over from Duke and had 18 tackles, three tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks in his only season with Michigan State. He had an underwhelming year, but could be an intriguing undrafted free agent.

Kevin Jarvis, OL: I always liked Kevin Jarvis’ upside, but he never really lived up to his potential. He started 39 career games and is probably best suited as an offensive guard at the next level. Unfortunately, he didn’t get a combine invite and might be overlooked by most NFL teams.

Drew Beesley, DE: Probably one of the most underrated players to come through Michigan State in some time, I could see Drew Beesley catch on in the NFL like a Marcus Rush. He had a career year in 2021 with 29 tackles and 5.5 sacks despite missing four games.

AJ Arcuri, OT: I could see a team taking a chance on AJ Arcuri as an undrafted free agent because he was solid in 25 career starts at Michigan State.
