3. Miami Dolphins

Division: AFC East
Running back room: Chase Edmonds (26), Raheem Mostert (30), Myles Gaskin (25), Gerrid Doaks (23), Salvon Ahmed (23)

Miami has been in the headlines all offseason, whether it was for a coaching controversy or trading for one of the most dynamic wide receivers in the game. They have surrounded quarterback Tua Tagovailoa with one of the best receiver corps in the game, giving the former Alabama product no excuses this season.

Their entire offense is primed to be explosive, besides their running back room. Chase Edmonds and Raheem Mostert each are OK players, but neither has a freelancing running style that can lead to ginormous plays. Additionally, both plays have injury concerns, meaning the Dolphins starter at any point this year could be a third or fourth option on their chart. With one of the weaker rooms in the NFL, this scenario will have a dream team put out a nightmare season for the Dolphins.

This would be where Kenneth Walker III slots in, instantly upgrading the Dolphins and giving them yet another weapon. With Walker, Mostert, Gesicki, Hill, and Waddle all on the field, this Dolphins offense could turn out explosive numbers from any player at any time.

The Dolphins have even less draft capital than the 49ers after their trade for Tyreek Hill. Their first pick is well into the third round, picking 102nd overall. The Dolphins would need to move up for Walker, but I would not be shocked if they do. With no other excuses for Tua to perform this year, why leave running back to chance? The Los Angeles Rams have shown the world that you don’t need draft picks to earn a ring at the end of the season.
