2. Gabe Brown leads all scorers

Michigan State is going to need its veteran leaders on Friday night if it wants to hold off an upset-hungry Davidson team. That means Gabe Brown must have one of his best games.

There’s a chance that this could be Brown’s last game as a Spartan and he’s in full control of that fate so if he struggles, Michigan State could be going home and his career may be over. He’s not going to let himself be the reason Michigan State is knocked out in the first round so expect him to have one of his better games of the year.

Gabe will get hot early from deep and finish with 21 points, hitting four big threes along the way.

The senior wing has the most NCAA Tournament experience on the team and he’s going to channel his inner 2019 LSU game self and light up the scoreboard for Michigan State.

When it comes down to crunch time, you have to rely on your veterans to step up and Gabe will do just that.
