Michigan State basketball was on a two-game losing streak looking to not go for a third against a surging Iowa team. The Spartans fell flat and lost big.

The Michigan State Spartans are now riding a three-game losing streak with five losses in their last six games. There is something wrong with these Spartans and they are just not clicking offensively. Because of these poor offensive outings, it’s leading to the defense getting worse and worse as the season goes on.

The Spartans had their hands full once again, traveling to Iowa to take on Keegan Murray and the surging Hawkeyes and the Spartans fell flat. They did not have the energy and they just could not stop Murray. Malik Hall had a good game for the Spartans but everyone else could not seem to find their rhythm and collectively shot 35 percent from the field.

With only four games left in the regular season, the Spartans are going in the wrong direction. They are usually finding their stride late in February heading into March but not this team. They are playing timidly and with no leadership guiding the ship this team is like a boat lost out at sea.

This team does not have much time left to figure things out and find themselves.

What are some reactions to this game?
