1. MSU wins by 10-plus, delivers Tom Izzo No. 662

As I stated earlier, winning twice against the same team in a single season is tough and Michigan State has lost two rematches already and snuck by with a buzzer-beater on another. It’ll need its best effort on Tuesday night to avoid an upset against a struggling Penn State team.

It’ll get a complete effort from just about everyone.

The point guards will play well again, the team will get off to a strong start, and the veteran leaders in Gabe Brown and Malik Hall will do their jobs. Max Christie will also step up and have one of his best games of the season, Marcus Bingham Jr. will dominate defensively, and Joey Hauser will even have a decent game, chipping in a couple of threes.

The bench will show up yet again and we’ll see this team lead from start to finish as they help Tom Izzo win his 662nd all-time game, tying him for first in Big Ten history with Bob Knight.

This double-digit win which will tie Izzo for No. 1 all-time in the Big Ten will set up a potentially record-breaking win on Saturday against first-place Illinois at home. It would be one of the best home environments with first place on the line as well as a major record.

Michigan State takes care of Penn State 72-60.
