1. Michigan State is undefeated after losses this year

Tom Izzo has had a solid season with the Spartans despite receiving criticism in a couple of losses. Against teams like Northwestern and Illinois, many believed it was his rotations or just plain stubbornness that led to losses.

But something he deserves a ton of credit for is not allowing his team to stay down after losses this season. The Spartans have avoided back-to-back losses this season.

In fact, Michigan State is 4-0 after losses and that’s because Izzo is a master at challenging his team and not allowing them to dwell. He’ll have a big test this time, however, because the Spartans were just walloped on the road by an inferior opponent but the last two times Michigan State lost by double figures, they came out and won convincingly.

Izzo is going to have his team ready to play because, well, the Spartans just know how to bounce back and that’s probably because this team is mentally strong.
