It’s more than just football with Mel Tucker

Yes, Mel Tucker is the head football coach and his main goal, of course, is to win Big Ten titles and, hopefully, one day bring a national championship to East Lansing. But he is helping implement a ton of things at the school — most recently, the new NIL programs and deal that MSU announced.

Tucker was a big factor in having that come about because he knows how important it can be to connect these players to brands to get their names out there. Because he believes that the student-athletes deserve their right to maximize any opportunity they have associated with their name and is always doing what is best for his players in the long run rather than just doing what’s best for their play on the field.

He’s also very vocal on Twitter about how academics always come first over everything, and when the honor roll and other rewards come out for academic achievements and he sees any student-athlete, he makes sure to give them the recognition they deserve and something as simple as a tweet can mean so much for the kids.

So that’s why Mel Tucker is the best coach in the Big Ten. He’s not only bringing winning football back to MSU and overachieving with the hand he is dealt, but he is also bringing a new form of recruiting to the conference and getting results with it. Lastly, he is making it bigger than football and making sure these kids he’s working with will always be set up in their future and will always have an outlet in case something were to go wrong.

Tucker is great and will continue to be great for years to come and remember: Tuck Comin’.
