3. Gabe Brown will break out of slump

This one might not be a super bold prediction but Gabe Brown has been quiet as of late. He has not been his usual self lately. Yes, other than the Wisconsin game where he only had three points, he has been in double digits in the scoring column, however, it’s how he’s gotten there.

Since the Minnesota game, Brown has not been shooting well. In that Minnesota game, he did have 13 points but he was only 2-for-7 on the floor. Against Northwestern, he shot 4-for-10 to only score 10 points. Lastly, against Wisconsin, he was 1-for-7. He was basically silent all game long.

The Spartans need Brown to excel in order for them to go a long way. The Spartans won’t be able to continue to win big with Brown being silent.

Brown will have a bounce-back electrifying game against Illinois. He will score 25 points and be efficient with his shots as well. He will get the Spartans going every time they need a spark.
