2. Max Christie, Gabe Brown, Marcus Bingham will bounce back

Three of Michigan State’s most important players struggled mightily at the same time against Northwestern in the upset loss last Saturday and that’s not going to happen again.

Actually, I think Max Christie, Gabe Brown, and Marcus Bingham all bounce back to have solid games against the Badgers and really get back on track again.

The Spartans’ three stars combined to shoot 6-for-22 from the floor and 2-for-11 from 3-point range. Gabe failed to make it to the free throw line, Christie made all four of his freebies, and Bingham missed the front-end of a potential game-tying one-and-one to end the game.

Bingham also struggled effort-wise as Izzo only played him 12 minutes and spoke about him needing a “come to Jesus” meeting. Bingham took to Twitter after and apologized for his performance and said it wouldn’t happen again. His words will come to fruition.

Gabe has been solid most of the year and he’ll get hot against the Badgers from deep while Christie will find his shot again.

All three will step up.
