3. Johnny Davis struggles against Max Christie

Johnny Davis is the Badgers’ best player this season. He has definitely taken a sophomore leap and become a star. He is averaging 22 points and 7.5 rebounds per game while shooting 36 percent from deep.

Davis also is averaging 1.5 steals per game. Not only is he doing work on the offensive side of the floor but he can defend well also. Davis has been a nuisance for his opponents all season long. He is scoring at will and when the team needs someone in crutch time they get the ball to him and let him go to work.

The sophomore star’s worst shooting game was when he went to Ohio State and shot 4-for-18 from the floor. That is good for a 22 percent mark. Expect an even worse shooting night from Davis; Max Christie, who has arguably been the Spartans’ best guard defender, will be matched up on him.

Christie will play tight on Davis all night long and will give him fits. Davis will struggle from the floor but will still score 12 points for his Badgers from the free throw line. Though Davis will score 12 he will shoot worse than 20 percent from the floor.
