You had to know that this one was coming, right? Keon Coleman is just one of those players who everyone in the fanbase is excited to see earn a larger role this coming season and with Jalen Nailor gone, that could be close to happening.

Coleman had just seven catches for 50 yards and one touchdown. He didn’t play a ton this season and we’ll see if he stays busy this offseason with the basketball team or if he’ll be training with the football team, but either way, I see him having a big spring which will vault him into the starting lineup and a subsequent breakout sophomore season.

The 6-4, 210-pound receiver from Louisiana is an athletic freak and it seems like it’s only a matter of time before he becomes a star in East Lansing.

The dual-sport athlete may find it in his best interest to train for football during the offseason and put basketball on the back burner, but even if he does join Tom Izzo’s team, I think the sky is the limit for him on the football field.

I’m expecting huge numbers from Coleman in 2022.
