2. Tyson Walker finishes with a double-double

It’s easy to be a fan of what Tyson Walker brings to the table, especially since Michigan State fans didn’t see a much quality point guard play last season.

The Northeastern transfer leads the team with 5.1 assists per game to go along with 6.9 points and he’s shooting 57 percent from 3-point range. He’s only shooting 40 percent from the floor, but I see that number improving the more he utilizes his speed to blow by defenders and pick up easy buckets at the rim.

Although the end of his last outing against Minnesota was forgettable as he sat himself on the bench for the final 10 minutes of the game, he still finished with 10 points and three assists and went on a 7-0 run of his own in the second half.

Walker is starting to gain some confidence but is still slowly adjusting to Big Ten play. He has already faced Northwestern this year and had zero points in that outing, so I’m going to predict he has a monster game to make up for it.

I’m thinking 12 points and 10 assists for the veteran point guard.
