3. The offense needs to go through Max Christie more

Last week, Max Christie was named the co-Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the fourth time this season. He is finally finding his rhythm on the offensive side of the floor and is knocking down tough shots to light a spark for this offense.

In the first half, Christie had a team-high 10 points, shooting 2-for-3 from deep and he finished the game with a team-high 16 points. This is the second game in a row that he has led the team in scoring. This will continue if he can continue to find openings to take those shots.

Michigan State needs to continue running screens to get Christie free. However, Christie has the ability to put the ball on the floor and make space for himself to get an open look.

Christie has been a bright spot on both sides of the floor in the last few games and he needs to continue this play for the Spartans.
