2. Christie, Bingham have career nights

Not only will Max Christie and Marcus Bingham shut down the Minnesota star players. They will have career nights while doing it. The two will bring serious energy and get the crowd going for this win.

Christie is coming off his best offensive game of his career making three 3-pointers and totaling a game high and career high of 21 points. He will keep this excellent play going in this game. He will finish the night with another career high and score 27 points while shooting 5-for-7 from deep. He will be a nightmare matchup for not just the Gophers but the rest of the Big Ten from this point on.

Bingham will also have a career night. His will stay on the defensive side of the court though. While he will be a consistent spark on offense, scoring 10 points, it will be his defense that will cement in the win for the Spartans. Bingham will put himself in the record books tying a game high in blocks. He will finish the night with eight of them and half of those blocks will be due to shutting the Battle.
