1. Michigan State wins by at least 10

Michigan State has won two Big Ten games this season by an average of 12 points and that trend continues with the Spartans handling a surprising Northwestern team by at least 10.

Northwestern relies heavily on the three-ball as well as a stingy defense, but the Wildcats haven’t faced a team like Michigan State yet. The Spartans have been causing poor shooting nights from just about every opponent from distance and they have been shooting lights out lately.

Michigan State is going to race out to a big lead early because of that scrappy defensive effort and guys like Joey Hauser, Malik Hall, and Gabe Brown will have huge offensive performances to lead the Spartans to a double-digit win over the 8-2 Wildcats.

This feels like somewhat of a trap game because Northwestern isn’t “elite” and the Michigan game is next week in Ann Arbor, but Tom Izzo will have his team ready.

Izzo is getting four guys back after COVID absences and that’s going to help them rebound in a big way after a disappointing High Point showing.

Michigan State wins by nearly 15.
