2. Tyson Walker records a double-double

In two of the past three games, Tyson Walker has recorded double-digit points and at least nine assists. He has one double-double in that time frame. He’s caught fire in recent weeks and that’s going to continue on Sunday afternoon.

When Walker plays well, the offense is usually humming along. I see him recording his second double-double of the season and third game with at least 10 assists since becoming a Spartan.

It won’t be just his passing ability that shines through, but he’s going to hit some big shots and drive to the lane right past an unsuspecting defense for 13 points. He’ll finish the game with those 13 points to go along with a season-high 11 assists and he’ll only have a couple of turnovers.

The Big Ten is going to start taking notice of Walker after this one as it’ll prove that he has what it takes to be an all-conference caliber point guard.

After this game, he’ll be averaging 12.7 points and 7.7 assists in conference play.
