Michigan State Football: 2021 Early Signing Day tracker
Michigan State football has a bigger Early Signing Day this year than in years past because of a few big names still on the board.
Mel Tucker is preparing to sign a top-20 recruiting class for Michigan State football on Wednesday through the early signing period. It would be Michigan State’s first top-20 class since 2016 but we all know how that one ended up.
The Spartans had the No. 18 class in the country heading into Wednesday and they even flipped three-star safety Malcolm Jones on Tuesday night as well as landing borderline four-star cornerback Caleb Coley on Wednesday.
Early Signing Day has been solid thus far for the Spartans, but an “afternoon” commitment from Kiyaunta Goodwin has been pushed back to 3:30 p.m. ET and then again even further. This has the feel of one of those drag-it-out commitments in which the top recruit just can’t seem to make up his mind because he’s torn.
It seemed like Michigan State is in a good spot with him heading into signing day, however.
Commits are signing early and some will be enrolling early and everything is going as planned for the Spartans thus far.
Let’s take a look at who has made it official and signed and who has committed throughout the day with our Early Signing Day tracker.
Which Michigan State football targets/commits have made it official?
Here’s who has signed, and committed, on Wednesday, led by honorary signee Tate Myre whose dream school was Michigan State before becoming a victim of the Oxford High shooting a couple of weeks ago (great move by the staff):
