These five recruits could potentially commit to Michigan State football on Early Signing Day on Wednesday. This could be an elite class.

Mel Tucker has his work cut out for him over the next 48 hours. Not only does he need to make sure he checks in with 2022 class Michigan State football commits to make sure they’ll be signing on Wednesday, but he also needs to close out strong with some committed and uncommitted prospects.

There are a number of recruits on the board still who could go green on Wednesday and sign with the Spartans. Right now, they have the No. 18 recruiting class in the country and it’s possible that it could rise with some of the big names on the board.

It’s not going to be easy to reel in some big fish, but Tucker feels confident that he can do just that and he said that these kids have been speaking highly of the program.

After a 10-2 season, we’d have to expect that Michigan State is going to attract some big fish to its 2022 class and with it already the highest it’s been since 2016, Tucker has a good chance to finish strong.
