Jacub Panasiuk is no Kenny Willekes or Shilique Calhoun, but he has had a solid senior season and should gain some draft attention.

He is currently the team’s sack leader with six, which is also good for seventh in the Big Ten and is second on the team in tackles for loss with nine.

While he isn’t expected to go Day 1 or 2, teams would be crazy not to at least look at Panasiuk and notice his high motor and his ability to consistently get in the backfield and disrupt an offense. While he may be done growing physically, he still is a little raw and has room to grow as a pass rusher.

The Spartans will have some players who will have to make some big decisions after the season. With Walker, Nailor, and Reed all potentially leaving, next season’s offense may look pretty different.
