There have not been many bright spots on the Michigan State defense, especially in a secondary that’s letting go 338 passing yards per game to opposing quarterbacks this season.

Despite the defense as a whole being below average, it is not much to the fault of Xavier Henderson.

Henderson has not only shown some good traits as a coverage defender, but he does a fine job of keeping players in front of him and has made 10 tackles for loss and three sacks this season. He’s fifth in the Big Ten in solo tackles and has an interception as well.

The safety should get attention as a day three pick after a solid career in East Lansing.
