Oakland kicks off a two-game non-conference stretch to end the month of December for the Spartans and this annual contest is usually interesting.

Greg Kampe always has his guys ready for Michigan State and this year will be no different. Plus, the fact that this game is at LCA just means that there is no home-court advantage here and the Spartans will have to deal with a Grizzlies-heavy crowd.

Oakland is 5-2 heading into December with a win over Oklahoma State and its only losses to Alabama and West Virginia, so this team may be legit. This won’t be an easy win.
