Michigan State Football: 5 recruits Spartans could flip in 2022 class
Although five-star Kentucky offensive tackle commit Kiyaunta Goodwin was at Michigan for the Ohio State game this past weekend, he’s still a serious candidate to flip to Michigan State.
Goodwin used one of his official visits to check out the most intense rivalry game in college football this year and you can’t blame him for that. He was also in East Lansing for the Michigan game which means that he saw the Spartans take down those Wolverines.
Michigan is making a late push for Goodwin, but Michigan State has been heavily pursuing him for a year now. Mel Tucker has made him a priority and he’s going to pick a program that can promise him some early playing time and it’s clear that Michigan State fits that bill. The Spartans need some offensive line help and Goodwin has the look of a Day 1 starter.
The five-star tackle is ranked the No. 30 overall recruit in the class and he’s being pursued by some top programs including Alabama, Texas A&M, and Florida State along with Michigan and Michigan State. Whoever lands him is going to get a future All-American.
Chris Kapilovic and Michigan State could absolutely use him right away.
