2. Max Christie is the game’s top scorer

Loyola averages over 90 points per game so you would assume that the Ramblers will probably have the game’s highest scorer, right? Well, they haven’t quite faced anyone yet so this 90 points per game average is a little misleading at the moment.

Does that mean they aren’t that good? Absolutely not. Loyola is a very good team and it has the ability to make a run to a Final Four but it hasn’t been tested quite yet.

Plus, the Spartans have a solid defense and they have the ability to force some turnovers. This is going to force Loyola into taking some bad shots and I think they’ll have trouble scoring in the post against Marcus Bingham Jr.

Since that will be the case, I think Michigan State will actually have the game’s top scorer. It’ll be a sleepy afternoon game according to their internal clocks, but the Spartans are going to rely heavily on a couple of guys to put the ball through the hoop and Max Christie will be one of them.

I see Christie having his second straight big game, scoring 20 points and shooting over 50 percent from the floor, leading both teams.
