1. Malik Hall took advantage of his starting gig

Malik Hall thrived in this game. He was getting to the basket with ease. He was able to hit a deep shot. He was able to grab nine boards. There was not much Hall could not do out there on the court. He finished the game with 15 points, nine rebounds, and only one turnover.

Hall was given the nod to start after Joey Hauser was not well enough to go in this game. Hauser has been dealing with a calf injury and was only going to play in an emergency. Hall took full advantage of this nagging injured and he should have earned himself more playing time with how well he was moving and leading on the court.

The junior big man is a leader on and off the court. This is why he was given the role of a team captain this offseason. He has given everything to this team and he has the potential to be a great player. He looked it and showed what he can do in this game against the Eagles.

Hall needs to continue this confidence and not look so timid and shy in big games. He is his own biggest enemy with this and when he finds his confidence continuously he with be an MSU great.
