2. Marcus Bingham has turned into the go-to guy

Coming into this season the Spartans did not have a definite go-to scorer. Some thought it could have been Marcus Bingham but people wrote him off because of his lanky frame. Others thought it would be Gabe Brown and he is showing he can score but he is not as efficient as Bingham has been.

Bingham had a game-high 19 points and 12 rebounds. He also had four blocks on the night as well. He was 7-for-15 from the floor. Bingham continues to shoot above 50 percent. He has also been a huge help on the defensive end with the nice footwork and the blocks he has accounted for this season.

These Spartans will need Bingham to stay hot and confident heading into the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament over Thanksgiving break. He will have some tougher job assignments and prove that he is another great big for the Big Ten.
