1. No one is giving MSU a chance

When does Michigan State historically play its best football? That’s right, when no one is giving the Spartans a chance to win.

A few weeks ago, no one outside of East Lansing was picking the Spartans to beat Michigan but look what happened. They shook off a 16-point second-half deficit to win the game 37-33. The Spartans were underdogs at Miami earlier this year and they were massive underdogs against Michigan and Northwestern last year (surprise, they won all three of those games).

Well, Michigan State and Mel Tucker are back in a familiar position as no one is giving them a chance to beat No. 4 Ohio State on the road.

Michigan State is one of those programs that thrive off of disrespect and while rivals may joke about it all the time, they can’t deny that it’s true. It happened under Mark Dantonio and it’s already the case with Tucker.

No one is giving Michigan State a chance here (just like in 2015) and that’s why the Spartans may just pull off this upset.
