1. Kenneth Walker III deserves all the hype

I’m honestly out of things to say about Kenneth Walker III. After going out and rushing for nearly 200 yards with five touchdowns against the best defense he’s seen all year, how does he react? By praising his team and avoiding the hype about his own play.

Payton Thorne didn’t have a great game with two picks and just under 200 yards and Walker picked up the slack with five scores including a few long runs.

Not only did he put the team on his back, but he put the whole nation on notice and entered the Heisman conversation emphatically.

Michigan State needed someone to step up and while Jayden Reed played well, it was Walker who did the job. He took over and made the Michigan defense look silly.

Now that he’s the first MSU running back to break 1,000 yards in a season since Jeremy Langford in 2014, he has bigger goals to accomplish.

If Michigan State wins 9-10 games, at least, Walker is going to get an invite to New York for the Heisman Ceremony. He may have already locked that up.

Walker deserves the Heisman hype and the Blake Corum/Hassan Haskins debate is finally settled.
