Michigan State football is looking to do something it hasn’t done since 2014 on Saturday afternoon. What is it? Beat Michigan in East Lansing.

That’s right, the Spartans have never beaten Jim Harbaugh in Spartan Stadium and they’re hoping to change that in what might be the biggest rivalry game in over a decade. Heck, this is the first time these two are meeting as top-10 teams since 1964 and the first time both are unbeaten at the time of the matchup since 2010.

Michigan State has the talent to take down this undefeated No. 6 Michigan team but will the Spartans find a way to win for the second year in a row?

Let’s dive into some bold predictions for Saturday’s huge game.

3. Spartans win the turnover battle

If there’s one area where Michigan has been elite this year, it’s the turnover margin. The Wolverines rarely make any mistakes and that’s why they’ve been so good.

When you don’t turn the ball over, there’s a good chance you’re going to win. And Michigan is 7-0 because Cade McNamara doesn’t throw interceptions and Blake Corum and Hassan Haskins don’t cough the ball up.

I think that changes on Saturday.

I see the Wolverines coughing up a key fumble and McNamara throwing a rare interception (his second on the year) to help Michigan State win the turnover battle.

Will this equate to a win? Stick around to find out.
