Receivers/Tight Ends: A

It was another near-perfect performance for a Michigan State leading receiver in Week 6.

Jalen Nailor was the top wideout this past weekend, catching five passes for 221 yards and three touchdowns as he finished the week as Pro Football Focus’ No. 1 receiver in the country. It was a career game for him as he nearly broke some major Michigan State records and his touchdowns were all impressive. Finally, he and Payton Thorne are on the same page.

In fact, Nailor has 13 catches for 349 yards and three touchdowns over the past two weeks after a slow start to the season.

Jayden Reed is usually the top target of Thorne, but he had three catches for 29 yards and he took a backseat. He’s still one of the best receivers in the conference.

Tre Mosley had another solid game as the team’s WR3, catching four balls for 60 yards, including a 39-yarder. He has been one of the most pleasant surprises this year.

Connor Heyward continues to excel at H-back/tight end, catching three passes for 17 yards and making some key blocks on the edge.

This group is borderline elite.
