4. Jayden Reed will have at least one more return touchdown

Jayden Reed has been electric this season and if he continues his torrid start, the Big Ten will have no choice but to include him in the running for receiver of the year.

Through four games, Reed has 16 catches for 336 yards and four touchdowns and he’s on a 1,000-yard pace. His receiving abilities are one thing, but his return prowess deserves some serious recognition.

In fact, on kickoffs this season, Reed is averaging over 30 yards per return. He’s only returned four kicks (mostly touchbacks) but he has been putting Michigan State in good field position every time he touches the ball on kick returns. On punt returns, he’s been just as good, if not better. On Saturday against Nebraska, he returned a punt for a touchdown to tie the game. He’s averaging 27.5 yards per return on punts this season with that one score.

Suffice to say, Reed is explosive on kick and punt returns. And that’s going to lead to another score in October.

Will it be a punt or a kick? It’s tough to guess, but he’s going to add at least one more special teams touchdown.
