1. Michigan State wins by a touchdown

Michigan State is 1-12 against the spread in the Spartans’ last 13 home games as the favorite with four outright losses, according to Chris Fallica.

So, yeah, that’s not great. And entering Saturday’s showdown against Nebraska, the Spartans are four-point favorites and people might be wondering why it’s such a slim spread. The reason? Because Nebraska bounced back from an Illinois loss to win two straight blowouts against inferior teams and hang tight against Oklahoma in Norman.

Will Michigan State be able to take care of business on Saturday night? I think so but it’s going to be a really close battle.

After watching Michigan State start the season 3-0 with three wins by three scores, at least, many saw this as a potential blowout, but I think Adrian Martinez will keep the Cornhuskers in this one. The Spartans and Cornhuskers will trade scores throughout the game and eventually win by a score.

I’m going to say Michigan State wins 34-27.
