2. Kenneth Walker III rushes for 100 yards

Kenneth Walker III is going to have a heck of a debut in the green and white, rushing for over 100 yards.

The Wake Forest transfer has been earning praise all offseason from coaches and teammates and the fact that he was with the Spartans in the spring is only going to help him. He has a good feel for his offensive line as well as the quarterbacks. If enough trust has developed between him and the line, I could see him going off against the Wildcats.

Pat Fitzgerald and Northwestern usually boast stingy defenses, but I think Walker III is going to be too much for the Wildcats to handle as he runs wild for over 100 yards and a touchdown.

Walker III will actually kick things off with the first Michigan State touchdown of the 2021 season in the first quarter on an eight-yard dash. This will cap off the Spartans’ second drive and it’ll really show that this offense has improved from last year.

Jay Johnson has some new toys to play with and Walker III might just be the most intriguing.
