Another guy who is getting lost in the mix is Tre Mosley and that’s probably because Jayden Reed and Jailen Nailor make up one of the best receiving duos in East Lansing in years. This might be the best duo since Felton Davis III and Cody White or the former and Darrell Stewart Jr.

But don’t sleep on Mosley.

The redshirt sophomore had a really impressive freshman season in 2019 under Mark Dantonio, catching 21 passes for 216 yards and a touchdown but he was relatively quiet as a true sophomore in 2020, catching seven passes for 71 yards. He drifted behind guys like Nailor, Reed, and even Ricky White on the depth chart, so he immediately fell off the radar.

White’s status with the team is uncertain heading into the season so there’s a chance Mosley could find himself in the starting lineup when the season begins. If that’s the case, he’s going to get plenty of targets with Reed and Nailor garnering all the attention from defenses.

Mosley is a talented receiver with decent size at 6-2 and 195 pounds and athleticism and he’s going to have a big year for the Spartans.
