Here we are at the most intriguing prospect currently on Michigan State’s big board. Katin Houser may be committed to Boise State, but he has liked what he’s seen from Michigan State, at least enough to take an official visit after cancelling other trips and needing time to make a final decision between the Broncos and Spartans.

The silence on his end has to be telling because if he weren’t considering a flip, he would probably come out and say he’s 100 percent committed by now.

Boise State insiders don’t feel good about his position with the program after the MSU visit and that’s a great sign Mel Tucker. He seems to have done a good enough job to at least make the four-star quarterback think about a future with Michigan State.

Recruiting experts rave about this kid and he even earned an invite to the Elite 11 finals after impressive in a regional camp.

The 6-3, 200-pound quarterback from California is ranked the No. 16 in the 2022 class by 247Sports and is rated a four-star prospect. He would be a massive recruiting win for Tucker and Co. and could help keep the ball rolling.

Expect a final decision sooner rather than later.
