Probably the one current Spartan I’m most excited about, Jalen Hunt played in just two games last season and had three tackles and two for loss. He doesn’t have a ton of playing time under his belt, but some members of the coaching staff see big things in his future.

Darien Harris is a prime example. The former Spartan linebacker during the golden era of Michigan State’s defense had this to say about Hunt during the spring game:

How can you hear something like that from a former starting linebacker during a successful era of Michigan State football and not get excited?

The potential of Hunt is through the roof and if he lives up to it, he could be a special player in East Lansing in 2021 and beyond. He still technically has four years of eligibility left as 2020 didn’t count toward that and if he continues to get better at this rate, he’s going to be scary.

All aboard the Jalen Hunt bandwagon for 2021 because the defensive tackle is about to take the Big Ten by storm.
