Jaren Handy is one of the best talents on the transfer market after departing from Auburn about a week ago. His departure came as a bit of a shock to Tigers fans and the defensive line talent immediately took a hit despite the fact that Handy hasn’t played a ton in his first two seasons.

In fact, he appeared in eight games and had 10 tackles, three tackles for loss, and a sack.

Michigan State could use some help on the defensive line and a former top-100 recruit like Handy would be the perfect addition. He has great size at 6-5, 278 pounds, and would immediately upgrade the defensive end position. Jacub Panasiuk is a lock to start at end and Drew Jordan may be the other starter but Handy would be a heck of a challenger for that spot.

What makes Handy a serious option is the fact that Mel Tucker was his primary recruiter while at Georgia so the two have already built a relationship and that could help here.

Could Michigan State bolster that line with Handy?
