What’s the current biggest need on the roster right now? Probably small forward, but any solid wing addition will do. The Spartans lost Aaron Henry and Josh Langford on the wing and both could play that small forward position so that’s where Cam’Ron Fletcher would come into play.

Michigan State was extremely high on Fletcher’s list when he was being recruited out of high school in Saint Louis but he ultimately chose John Calipari and Kentucky.

Was it because of a playing time issue? Kentucky refreshes its roster every year so he probably expected to be the top option on the wing there but he played just nine games and didn’t live up to expectations in Lexington. He averaged just 1.7 points and 1.7 rebounds while shooting about 54 percent from the field.

Like Rocket Watts, he probably just needed a change of scenery and a fresh start and Tom Izzo should be inquiring about the former four-star and No. 71 recruit in the country, especially since the two built a solid relationship.

This is the small forward on the market that makes the most sense.
