One of the most underrated players in the country has made its way to East Lansing. Former Wake Forest running back Kenneth Walker III has transferred to Michigan State and has the chance to be the best Spartan tailback since Jeremy Langford.

Walker was ranked the fifth-best returning running back in the NCAA by Pro Football Focus.

He adds a ‘thunder and lightning’ combo with Jordon Simmons. Walker in his two seasons at Wake Forest played a total of 20 games. He ran for 1,158 yards on 217 attempts. (5.3 yards per carry) Walker also added 17 touchdowns in those 20 games.

Walker plays running back with patience and good vision. Once he finds the hole he accelerates and generates yards after contact. He is a very good talent that will do wonders for the Spartan backfield.

Keep an eye out for Walker this spring. His body looks improved from the weight room this winter and he’s looked forward to a big year this fall. The Green and White game will be the first time Walker can showcase his abilities to Spartan nation. Don’t miss out.
